QuickHit Starting Line Up
Aatish Salvi, Vice President, Product
Amateur Irish Fiddler. Language Nut. Historic Architecture Buff.
Born in India, Aatish has lived in five different countries, speaks two languages and can read four additional ones. A graduate of Brown University, Aatish has degrees in Computer Science and Egyptology and is the only member of the Quick Hit executive team that can read hieroglyphics. When Aatish isn’t at the office, he can sometimes be found playing the Irish fiddle at local Boston watering holes.
Aatish serves as the Vice President of Product, overseeing the online gaming network and its games. He is a serial entrepreneur and has been an executive on the ground floor of high-tech startups in the entertainment, automotive and nanotechnology industries. Prior to Quick Hit, Aatish was Vice President of the NanoBusiness Alliance where he influenced national policy, built and ran the premier nanotech trade show on Wall Street, enabled world-class scientists to launch businesses, and acted as a consultant for venture capital investors interested in the high-tech sector. Before the Alliance, he was the Senior Vice President of Production for Driveitaway.com, an online start-up for automobile sales. He also previously worked at Turbine as both its Director of Technology on Asheron’s Call 2 and Director of Production on The Lord of the Rings Online.
Ed Willett, Vice President of Sales
Pepper Fanatic. Sports Nut. Ping Pong Title Holder.
Contrary to the rest of the executive team’s liking, Ed is a New York sports fan. He is a true sports enthusiast, having traveled all over the world to see events like Wimbledon, the Olympics, the Indy 500 and more. Ed’s outlook on life is full of spice and flavor, which might explain why he uses a mill full of pepper on everything he eats. He loves to meet new people and has become the ‘unofficial’ poster child for Panera Bread. A closet Ping-Pong player, he is currently in training for the US Olympic trials.
Ed serves as the Vice President of Sales at Quick Hit, driving revenue for the company, expanding the worldwide sales network and creating strategic partnerships with sponsors and advertisers. A highly seasoned sales executive with more than 25 years in the field, Ed spent the past 10 years at ESPN in a variety of senior sales positions. While at ESPN, Ed designed and implemented new sales and customer service practices that increased business by 20% while managing total revenues of more than $90 Million. Prior to ESPN, Ed also worked at USA Today, as its Advertising Sales Director, where he worked with clients like; Xerox, IBM, Toyota, Starwood, Northwest Airlines, Hertz and Avis. Ed also held sales and advertising positions at Time Inc., and Conde Nast Publications, for the Sports Illustrated and Glamour Magazine titles. He graduated from Bucknell University and received his MBA from University of Denver.
Jeffrey Anderson, Founder & CEO
Muscle Car Buff. Power Lifter. Polka Dancing Champion.
Having lived throughout the United States, Jeff combines his hard-working Midwest roots with California innovation and Yankee ingenuity. When he’s not at Quick Hit (which is most of the time), Jeff can be found in his garage, covered in grease with a blow torch in one hand, rebuilding his ’65 Corvair convertible. The completed Corvair will one day join Jeff’s collection of cars, including, a ’69 Chevelle, ’31 Ford and ’72 Fiat Spyder.
Quick Hit’s Founder and CEO, Jeff brings a strong background in game design, product management and business development to the company. Prior to starting Quick Hit, Jeff was the president and CEO of Turbine, Inc. where he rebuilt that company into a global publisher of MMORPG’s with hits like Dungeons & Dragons Online and The Lord of the Rings Online. Before Turbine, he served as the vice president and executive in charge of production at Origin/Electronic Arts, where he managed the Ultima franchise. Kelli O’Donnell, General Counsel
Javelin thrower. Burrito Junkie. Aspiring Green Thumb.
A Massachusetts native, Kelli was once a competitive javelin thrower. These days, she’s given up track and field glory for the Quick Hit Football gridiron. She can often be found enjoying a burrito to keep her going during her long days at Quick Hit. When she’s not on the lookout for Mexican munchies at the office, she is working to improve her “green thumb” in the garden, which is currently more like a dark shade of yellow.
Kelli serves as Quick Hit’s General Counsel, where she is responsible for all legal matters, which include reviewing and negotiating contracts and the management of licensing agreements. A seasoned corporate lawyer with nearly a decade of experience, O’Donnell previously served as Turbine’s in-house counsel on various legal affairs, including licensor relationships, commercial contracts and intellectual property issues. Prior to Turbine, O’Donnell was in-house counsel at Digitas where she worked on various advertising agency agreements. She also held counsel positions at KB Toys as well as at the law firm of Hutchins, Wheeler & Dittmar. She has her B.A. from The College of William & Mary and her J.D. from Boston College School of Law.
Scott Philp, Chief Marketing Officer
Fantasy Football Fanatic. Twinkie Addict. Hot Air Balloon Phobia.
An avid fantasy football player, Scott needs to employ Excel spreadsheets just to manage the 10 leagues he plays in each season. Growing up a Pittsburgh Steelers fan (where his father, brother and he attended all the games in matching jerseys,) Scott continues his love for the AFC East, despite moving to the west coast and retiring his snow boots and gloves for board shorts and flip flops.
Scott joined Quick Hit in August 2008 as its Chief Marketing Officer, where he will oversee the company's marketing and business development activities, managing brand awareness, as well as expanding Quick Hit’s strategic partnerships and distribution channels. Prior to joining to the Quick Hit team, Scott was the Senior Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at RotoHog, a leading fantasy sports operator and software developer for major brands and pro-fessional sports. At RotoHog, Scott drove the strategic marketing initiatives and distribution partnerships that positioned the company as the internet’s fastest growing fantasy sports web-site. He was also responsible for driving all customer acquisitions and translating user feedback into product strategy. Before RotoHog, Scott was the Vice President of Business Development at FUN Technologies, where he grew the company’s registered users to 35 million in less than three years. Scott graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas Tech University.
